About NCIWSE - 2019

Structural engineers are the architects of the nation and play a pivotal role in transforming the national blueprint in to reality. The challenges posed today are the design and execution of tall and long span structures subjected to extremely large impact and explosive forces, development of new construction materials, construction techniques and computer based tools for analysis and design, to meet the challenges of the new millennium.

National Conference on Innovative World of Structural Engineering (NCIWSE-2019), therefore, is aimed at creating knowledge relating to latest innovations in structural Engineering across the country. The conference will bring together researchers and practitioners around the country in the broad fields of structural engineering. The conference will focus on knowledge and methodology, and/or performing experiments in all areas of structural engineering, discuss, share and review recent ideas and developments, and address the challenges that the present and future pose. It is hoped that the cross fertilization between theory and practice that is anticipated will promote defiantly a better understanding of structural behaviour ,facilitate more and more realistic material and structural modeling, leading to enhancing the confidence of structural engineering fraternity. The forthcoming conference will provide a good opportunity to take stock of progress over the past decade and to agree on priorities for the next decade. The conference is organized by the Department of Applied Mechanics, Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad.
